Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessments for Adults
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect attention, organization, impulse control, and emotional regulation. While commonly identified in childhood, many adults experience symptoms that impact their daily functioning, relationships, and work performance.
Possible signs of ADHD in adults include chronic difficulties with focus and concentration, forgetfulness, restlessness, impulsivity, disorganization, frequent procrastination, and challenges with managing time or completing tasks. Some individuals may also experience emotional dysregulation or difficulties maintaining motivation.
ADHD assessments for adults typically involve a detailed clinical interview to explore current symptoms and developmental history, along with standardized psychological measures and, where appropriate, collateral information from family members or significant others. Following the assessment, a comprehensive report is prepared that includes diagnostic findings (if applicable) and personalized recommendations for management, workplace or academic accommodations, and treatment planning. We have multiple psychologists who have extensive experience in conducting ADHD assessments for adults.
Please note: We do not conduct standalone ADHD assessments for children and adolescents. However, ADHD symptoms in younger clients are evaluated as needed as part of our comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, which we do offer at the clinic.
