Psychological services are not covered by OHIP. However, many extended health benefit plans provide reimbursement for psychological services.
Additionally, costs for psychological services that have not been reimbursed by an extended health benefit plan are eligible to claim for tax deductions as medical expenses on your personal income tax filing. Our fees vary depending on:
(a) the level of training of the clinician, and
(b) the service being requested (e.g., psychological treatment or psychological assessment).
